A Breath of Fresh Air for the Pulmonology Clinic at the "Marius Nasta" Institute of Pneumoftiziology in Bucharest August 2025

Prisum Healthcare actively supports the fundraising campaign "Donations for the Marius Nasta Institute," an initiative launched by oncology patient and patient navigator Andi Cârlan, and now managed by the Association for Combating Malnutrition in Cancer (ACMC). Through this effort, Prisum Healthcare reaffirms and strengthens its commitment to the health and well-being of patients in Romania.

The project aims to provide essential materials, equipment, and devices for the "Marius Nasta" Institute (Pulmonology Clinic I), a medical institution with a 120-year history of excellence in the diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary diseases.

Prisum Healthcare contributed €1,000 to the campaign - more than 10% of the project's total value. The amount will support the Institute in acquiring materials and equipment to improve conditions for hospitalized patients, including refrigerators for storing medication and food, mirrors for physical rehabilitation exercises, and durable metal doors for intervention rooms and patient wards.

"We believe that patient health is measured not only through treatments and medical procedures but also through the quality of hospital conditions. By providing financial support to the Marius Nasta Institute, via the Association for Combating Malnutrition in Cancer (ACMC), we hope to bring greater comfort and dignity to patients going through difficult times and in need of our care," said Ionela Nicolau, CEO of Prisum Healthcare.

Three Institutions, One Vision

By supporting this project, Prisum Healthcare continues its engagement in the healthcare system, aiming to improve patient access to medical and care services at the highest standards.

"We believe that meaningful change begins with concrete actions. By participating in this project managed by the Association for Combating Malnutrition in Cancer, we are helping to ensure decent and dignified conditions for patients at the Marius Nasta Institute. This is our way of showing that every patient matters," added Laura Miclăuș, Medical Manager at Prisum Healthcare.
